PMD-U Team Freedom Dungeon 1
~~~~The Basalt Halls~~~~~
A mysterious atmosphere filled the air of the ancient dungeon. Pillars of basalt lined the walls of the cavern, making for geometric patterns that could almost be called artistic. Occasionally, the dungeoneering group passed by a small pool of water formed from a stream trickling down from the ceiling. The area must have been close to or within the water table of the local area. Mithora took a deep breath of the refreshingly cool air and sighed. It had been a long time since she’d been dungeoneering. There was hardly any need for it when traveling by dragon through the fog. This dungeon would be easy to ex
Mithora tugged at the reigns of the cart as hard as she could, but for simple balls of fiber the cargo turned out to be very hard to pull. Still, Mithora needed to get this delivery to Chantelle’s fashion studio as quickly as possible as they had been given special instructions not to be late.
“Do you needs some help, Mithy?” Layron said, popping his head out from the piles of spoolstone to speak with his partner.
“No, I’m just pretending to make-” Mithora paused before saying “Yes actually, I do need help.” She often forgot that Layron rarely understood sarcasm. It just wasn̵
A stone circle existed just north of Andalusst. Or, at least, Mithora presumed it had been a form of stone circle in a previous incarnation. Speaking of incarnation, her task this evening was to help guide the spirits of the dead back to the city as they arrived, helping them adjust to the circumstances and such. As she understood, those who died in the dungeons below and came back alive as ghosts often wound up in this series of monoliths. A sad story, but she couldn’t help them. Nobody could help the ghosts but themselves.
A Pumpkaboo slowly wandered into the monolith circle, looking around as if confused. Mithora approached h
PMD-U Event 2 (contest): Frosty Festivities
Mithora was excited! This was the first thing exciting happening in town since the cart race nearly a month ago. A festival being held by Hunters Guild in honor of the ambassador from Iaponese would start that very morning, and Mithora was hyped for it!
The only thing that might have disappointed her was the fact that it involved ice, something she never quite appreciated. Even though Mithora was a fire type, she never liked the cold. She wore her scarf for a reason. Her friends in the past claimed that it was because she lived next to a volcano most of her life, but Mithora presumed that it was just a natural thing for Fennekins.
Mithora couldn’t believe Layron had dragged her to this event. A back-alley street race between the carts that had been repurposed for the merchants. Somehow a portion of them had ended up in the hands of a Furret who wanted to have a race between some of them. Layron was a silly Pokemon and dragged Mithora to all sorts of crazy events but this was the silliest.
Minutes later though, she saw the reason why he insisted they go to this challenge - the homeless Pokemon who were ‘coming with the carts’ were part of this competition. The three of them - a Bibarel, a Hitmontop, and Cacturne - were all stood there ready to
First it was trees and now it was carts. Mithora didn’t know why the locals insisted that the guild teams worked on such menial tasks like gathering up old, broken carts for distributing to the merchants. She never had trusted those types of Pokemon, merchants. Sure they had important jobs in terms of acquiring and distributing goods, but at the same time their need for wealth in order to actually receive goods to sell often led to greed. Mithora hated greed. She prefered thriftiness, saving money not for the purpose of saving it but for not taking more than you really needed. It was a difficult concept for some to understand, as Mi
Glancing over the Helioptile and Fennekin, Kara the Pancham was unsure of whether or not she should let them aid her. “I dunno... you two don’t look very tough.” Kara commented. A small fennec fox and an electric lizard, holding an ocarina no less.
“I assure you that we are two of the most well trained, highly adept Pokemon you’ll meet around here.” Mithora replied. “We would be perfect for this outfit, as long as it isn’t a permanent position. We are with the Explorers guild, I will remind you.”
“That’s the problem though. You can be tough, but if you don’t l
Being a fire type, Mithora never considered herself a botanist. She did like nature though - it’s plentiful bounty always kept herself and her teammates strong when they were on long trips, plus nature was generally beautiful. The Explorers Guild administrator Gavina had put out a request for assistance in planting trees that day. Mithora didn't see why she couldn’t help.
Upon arriving at the hub of activity, Mithora learned that saplings were not the only thing to be planted today, although they were on the top of the priority list. They also needed to plant seeds of other common plants, including ones used for fibers and
In the early afternoon in Andaluust, the town of Dreamer’s Eye was bustling with activity. With the ninjas apprehended, everything was able to quiet down and peace returned. It was almost unfair how the entire town was searching for them, making capture an easy task. A new job was available for the various guild teams this day - a researcher wanted to study the social habits of automatons.
Mithora begged Layron not to get involved with this assignment, but she couldn’t argue against an argument as strong as Layron’s new ocarina, which played a tune that always lulled her into a light sleep. She thought him a monstros
