Skul'tolo the NecromancerWhen i was writing mission three, i made up a really powerful bad guy for the fight at the top of the tower because lets face it: A fight against Devonshire or PK would in no way meet my tastes for writing epic battles.
Skul'tolo the Necromancer is a very powerful, very evil, and genuinely insane 1000 year-old Spiritomb who knows a dark art called necromancy, which involves the summoning and controlling the undead. Specifically, Skul'tolo prefers to use bones from dead Pokemon as minions by summoning his many spirits into the dead Pokemon's emancipated body.
Skul'tolo himself, however, prefers to turn himself into a powerful demon-like monster by attaching many bones to himself. He starts with the basic skeleton, and then attaches a bunch of other bones to himself for armor and for field necromancy. He can become 8 feet tall, sporting a demonic skull, wings, tail, even hooves. Skul'tolo prefers to sport a very large bone as a maul to smash his opponents. He either uses this, or sharp b
PMD M3 Chapter 9: Revenge Pyren, Vergil, Puzelle, and Ruben were all hiding in a nearby bush, anticipating the arrival of the Sneasle. Although having been adjusted to the night by now, eventually they had to start watching in shifts because it was getting past midnight and there was still no sign of him. Finally it was an hour before sunrise, and everyone was getting stir-crazy. "Maybe the Sneasel caught on and decided not to come tonight." Ruben said. As if on cue, they all noticed something moving in the shadows. It was undoubtedly the Sneasel; nothing else would need to move so stealthily as this figure. When the figure stopped right before the door to the house. Pyren crossed his fingers that this would work.
"OK really guys." The Sneasel said to the bush they were hiding in. "This is your saddest attempt yet. Even a Quagsire could see that there's a net trap here." The Sneasel said, pointing to the ground where Pyren and Vergil had laid a trap right in front of the door
PMD M3 Chapter 8: Ranch Pyren was walking through Tao Village on his way to the Rescue Guild treehouse when he came across Mike, Gunpowder, and Shroomsworth, all arguing over...Pyren couldn't quite make out what. A bunch of other Pokemon were watching the argument. Pyren walked up to a Wurmple and asked "What's going on here?"
"They're all arguing about a robbery of all three guilds two days ago." The Wurmple explained. "Apparently each guild was responsible for the robbery of another."
"All three guilds robbed each other on the same day?" Pyren asked. "That can't be right." Pyren walked up to the guild leaders. "Hey guys! Stop arguing for a sec!" Pyren tried to yell over them, with little success. He tried a few more times to get their attention with similar results. Finally he got fed up with it and threw a Fire Blast right in the ground between all of the, effectively shutting all of them up.
When the smoke cleared, Mike, Gu
PMD M3 Chapter 7: Infiltrate Remington had rented a small house just outside Tao Village for himself and the team the second day they were in town. He wanted to buy one later, but he had left much of his money (which was quite a sum) at home. After Pyren had laid Remington in bed, he followed Mike to where the Rogues had their hideout. "Right down that trapdoor." Mike said, pointing to a trapdoor behind the village law firm (why a village needed a law firm Pyren had no idea).
"So how do we get in?" Pyren asked.
"Do you want me to do it?" A voice behind them asked.
"AHH!" Pyren and Mike screamed as they jumped out from behind their hiding spot. They turned around to find Amelia standing there. "Don't sneak up on me like that!" Pyren yelled. "You know I hate it when you do that! And why are you here anyway? You're not part of the team right now, remember?"
"Uhhh..." Mike said. Pyren turned back around to find that the 2 Rogues
PMD M3 Chapter 6: Spiritomb There were tough enemies on every floor, but certainly not as powerful as Skul'tolo was. After they had beaten him, everything else seemed comparatively easy. Eventually they got to the temple shrine; apparently their hunch about there being 25 floors in the tower was correct.
At the top was the most horrid scene any of them had ever seen. The tower was haunted, this room was living proof. Forget Ghost-type Pokemon though. This room was filled with Pokemon ghosts. Everywhere, spirits of Pokemon were moaning in agony and flying around aimlessly, as if trying to find something. "A way out" Remington said without thinking.
"What?" Pyren asked.
"They're trying to find a way out." Remington explained.
"Well couldn't they just pass through the wall?" Chill asked. "They are all ghosts after all. Or the dudes could just pass on to the next world."
"I don't think so." Estoc said. "Somethi
PMD M3 Chapter 5: Demon Remington, Pyren, Chill, And Estoc fought there way through 20 of what they figured was a 25 floor dungeon. Of course, they had lots of problems with the skeletons, but with all of them working together, they made off well.
That changed when they got to the 20th floor. Estoc lead the way up the stairs, with everyone following closely behind. When they got to the center of the room (which had seemed empty), A whole army's worth of skeletons appeared from practically out of nowhere and surrounded them. "We're surrounded!" Estoc yelled.
"No duh genius!" Remington yelled as he used Psychic to take out the skeletons blocking their path to the stairs. "Move!" Remington yelled. Everyone made a run for the stairs, blasting skeletons left and right as they ran. When everyone was at the top, Estoc used Sacred Sword to break the stairs. "Hope we don't ever need to come back up here again." He said.
"I'm sure we all do." Chill
PMD M3 Chapter 4: Occult Once they got inside the tower, they found themselves immediately regretting it. Remington, Pyren, and Chill didn't know quite what to expect. Maybe a ruinated palace-like building. This was no comparison.
Occult. No other word could describe it. There were all sorts of creepy things going on around them. Strange glowing symbols carved onto the walls. Candles glowing a black fire that somehow gave light. And most of all the skeletons. Oh the skeletons. They were everywhere. Hundreds of skeletons of probably innocent Pokemon were lying around. Even more eery was the fact that some were actually properly assembled and were being hanged for display.
"Wow..." Remington said. "I used to rate creepy on a scale of 1 to 50.....I think this place just broke that scale....."
"Let's just get this over with so we can get out of here fast." Chill said. They proceed to the staircase and got to the second floor. From the size of
PMD M3 Chapter 3: Sacred Colbalion took his position for battle, as did Remington, Pyren, and Chill. "We're ready whenever you are Estoc." Remington said.
"Very well." Estoc said. "Defend yourself!" He yelled, and quickly charged at them with Take Down. He came so fast, Pyren and Chill were barely able to avoid the attack. Remington wasn't so lucky, as he got caught on Estoc's horns and got slammed back onto a rock. "Aargh! Very much hurt now!" Remington yelled.
Pyren launched a fire blast at Colbalion, which was easily avoided. He quickly retaliated. "Sacred Sword!" Estoc yelled as he made a sword out of energy and made a clean blow to Pyren. Chill quickly attacked with Blizzard, but Estoc blocked the attack with Sacred Sword.
Already he had proven himself stronger than everyone fighting him. Although this was putting their mission in jeopardy, Remington had to admit he was impressed. He got up, ignoring the pain he was fealing, and prepa
