August tasks ch 4 - A Happy Reunion! An hour or so later, Amelia tapped him on the shoulder. Remington turned to see her wearing a blue hood. “Sea Basin Hood, she called it.” Amelia said, knowing before he even spoke what Remington was going to ask. Remington smiled and pointed out the staff on his back, on which his Continental Sash was hanging. “Looks good.” Amelia complemented. She leaned on the balcony railing as Remington had and stared out over the sea. “So, watcha been thinking about?”
“I miss them.” Remy said, staring out at the sea again.
“Well, of course Pyren; most of the Pokemon who were sent back in time are back now but he’s still missing. I’m talking about our old friends, from back home. Statera.
August tasks ch 3 - Rain or Shine... Amelia was not too pleased that her talents would have to be used to reduce mere boulders to rubble, but on the other hand she was reducing boulders to mere rubble. Quite a fun sport for Amelia. Amelia, Sharon, and several other Pokemon arrived at the site of the landslide and got to work right away. Amelia eyed an offset boulder and decided to blast it to pebbles just for a warm-up. She stood still, found her center, summoned her inner strength, and brought it out. Her hands glowed with her purplish, dark power. Amelia breathed deep, took aim, and shot the Dark Pulse at the boulder. The rock shattered in a flurry of smoke and rock, some of which fell on Amelia but did not bother her.
Amelia continued to warm up on a few other boulders until she was sufficiently prepared. Then she turned her attention to the task at hand: the landslide. By now, Sharon and the other companions had
August Tasks ch 2 - Like Children, They Are Amelia proceed down the corridors of the Cathedral as directed by the guards, towards a room designated as an Embassy room for two groups staying at the cathedral. Amelia had to admit that the architects who had designed the cathedral had not been amateurs The walls were lined with columns painted gold, ornate designs along the bases. There were archways all down the hallway every few feet, and the halls themselves were tall enough to let a giant like Merlot pass through them without even having to duck their heads.
The two groups were known as the Path of Rain and the Path of Shine. From the few words Amelia managed to hear about them, they got along quite well. (Quite the dramatic difference from how their orders likely would have gotten along back in Statera.) On her way, she happened to pass by a rather regal looking character. It took a moment
August Tasks ch 1- A Mission-ary Within the village of Tao is a missionary. It was there that the Pokemon of Tao were asked for assistance by an Archeops named Gabriel. The place of interest was the center of the religion supported by the missionary, the Cathedral Drop. Of the tasks asked of the villagers, the Merchants were asked to collect tithes and the Rogues were, amusingly enough, asked to confess their sins. Remington and Amelia weren't too surprised by these requests; this was a standard church, as far as they knew. What was asked of the Rescuers, on the other hand, quite intrigued the team. Stories were Remington's passion, and he had plenty to tell. Especially intriguing to Remington was the request of a story about their morals. Remington and Amelia lived by a single, powerful quote. The story they were going to tell would revolve around this very saying.
The first thing they ended up doing was having a bit
Team Freedom July Tasks“I’m boooooored.” Remy moaned, leaning on a side of the balloon basket the Driftloons were carrying.
“We heard you the twelfth time!” Amelia muttered, feeling quite bored herself. Unlike Remington, she knew that it would do no good for her to complain about their situation. “At least we get to fly there this time, and not walk straight into Klayton’s marauders.”
“At least that fight was fun!” Remy complained.
“Fun? We nearly got killed! Twice!”
“We had three fights though. Which one didn’t we get killed in?”
“The one where we fought the grunts.” Amelia smiled, hanging her head over the side and looking at the ground passing below them as they were carried towards Almomola. “Those guys were nothing. It was... well, it was just like old times.”
PMD-E June Tasks "So you were a criminal, but you're not a criminal?" Jury asked Amelia.
The Mawile groaned. "No! For the last time, I was authorized by the central government of the Empire of Arix to break the law if it was necessary to distribute justice on criminals."
"Even so, lawbreakers cannot uphold the law."
"Alright, you know what? Fuck you!” Amelia said, her patience having long ago run out. “Lawbreakers stopped an assassination plot against the Emperor. Lawbreakers ended five slave trades! And gods damn it all, a lawbreaker captured the most dangerous rebel in all of history, even compared to any of your people! So don't tell me that I didn't do my job right!" With a glare of hatred, Amelia stormed out of the building.
Remington was caught off guard - he knew Amelia was aggressive but a burst of anger out of her like that was very rare. "Please, Forgive her." He as
PMD-E May Tasks “So what you’re saying is that Pokemon from your region have last names?” Blu asked while he prepared his shovel to jam into the earth to remove a shovelful of dirt from their future path to salvation they had used nigh a few months ago.
Pyren shoveled a large pile of dirt out of the way and into a mining cart behind them. “Well, I suppose that, in a way, we really do not, but yes technically.”
“What do you mean, yes technically? It seems to me like you enjoy being cryptic or indirect whenever I ask you anything."
"It's a curse, I'm afraid." Pyren wedged the tip of his shovel into the tunnel floor and sighed. Digging out a tunnel was hard work. Combine that with the fact that Pyren and Blu were the only ones digging this particular tunnel, and the task sounded joyously tedious. Even so, there was nothing better to do except let wounds fester, so what could
PMD-E Present Mission 8: The Shadowsayer Remington screamed in terror as he was pushed down a hole, rather rudely, and fell into a pile of bones. As with any freefall into a pile of dried marrow, the Munchlax was rather hurt by the fall, but he would live. Hopefully
“Are you OK down there, Remy?” Amelia called.
“Yes, I just got pushed into a hole and landed in this nice soft pile of bones.” Remington said sarcastically. A few moments later, another Pokemon jumped into the bones. Freeing its head from the pile, Remington saw the face of his Mawile friend and bonked her in the head with his Chargestone Staff. “That’s for pushing me into a hole.”
“Watch it!” Amelia shouted. A few moments later, there was more Pokemon jumping down into the hole, among them Chill the Minccino, whose return to Tao Village after having been at home nursing his wounded sister, whatever the reason, could
