PMD: The Troubadour Ch 4

  "Careful!" Fresnel called to Yosuke and Sin. "Don't drop those
ribbons. It took forever to get them all arranged properly for hanging!"
Yosuke nodded and tightened his grip on Sin as he held him up to reach
for the spot where the ribbons were to be pinned to the wall.  
  Sin was just able to get them pinned up, when he heard something familiar. There was music coming from outside again.
  "Eh?" Sin muttered.
  "Woah, Sin, pay attention!" Yosuke yelled as Sin moved to turn
around, causing the two to lose their balance and topple to the floor.
  Fresnel put a hand to his face. "Why don't you two take a break?" he said.
  "Gladly." Yosuke said as he got up and brushed himself off. He ran toward the entrance to see what the noise was about.
  "Hey, wait up!" Sin yelled as he caught up to him. They got up on the
surface to find that a crowd was gathered again, most likely around the
same Pokemon from before. Sin rushed ahead and found that it was indeed
the two from before, only this time, a Munchlax was playing a drum to
the music.
  "Hey again!" Sin said to Pyren.
  "Oh hey Sin." Pyren said.
  "What are you playing?" Yosuke asked, coming up the group.
  "Oh, just some more troubadour music." Pyren said. The tune they were playing was a rather brave and mellow song.
  "Well it sounds nice." Yosuke said. He looked around and got a good
look at the Munchlax playing the drum. He didn't even need to ask, but
he did anyway. "Are you his leader?" Yosuke asked him.
  "Yep. Name's Remington. Pyren told me about you two. Team Fool Arcana, right?" The Munchlax asked.
  "Ya." Sin said happily. "So, you play the drum?"
  "Not really." Remington answered. "I specialize in piano, but you
can't exactly cart a piano around everywhere like a troubadour, now, can
you?" This made Sin laugh.
  "I thought Pyren said you were sick with depression, or something." Yosuke said.
  "I was,
until those guys helped me." Remington said, pointing to a Petilil and a
male Nidoran. "They helped me think things out and get back on my
feet."
  "That's great." Sin said eagerly. "So, you're going to Sorbet's party after all?
  "Heck ya we all are." Amelia told him from her violin playing. "We don't miss parties."
  "Awesome." Yosuke said. He stayed silent for a bit and listened to
the music. When they finished their song, he spoke up. "So uhhh...what
can we get you for Sorbet's birthday?" He asked.
  "Well, I don't need anything, thanks to those guys." Remington said,
pointing to the Petilil and Nidoran again. "Not unless you know how to
acquire a rescuer team member voucher." Yosuke and Sin glanced their way
and the Pokemon smiled at them. Sin remembered them as new recruits of
the Rogues Guild that they had seen the other day.
  "Hey! I've seen them." Sin said. "They're uhh...Team Halycon. They're
a new Rogue team. I've seen them once or twice at the guild."
  "Wait. They're rogues?" Remington said, looking quite surprised. He
had assumed that Haycinth and Bunolagus were Rescuers, and judging from
how Sin had worded his statement, he and Yosuke must have been Rogues
too. Remington simply stared at Haycinth and Bunolagus and took a few
moments to think about what they did, with respect to their alignment.
To him, Rescuers were all awesome, Merchants were friendly, and Rogues
were...avoidable.
  These teams, however, seemed...nice. They were new to their guilds,
sure, but...Pokemon like them tended to change his perspective quite
easily....
  Remington reached a conclusion. "I guess Rogues aren't as bad as I thought." Remington said to himself.
  "I guess we should be happy to hear you say that." Sin chuckled. "So
uhh...glad to see you're OK. Sin and I gotta get back to decorating the
cafe."
  "OK." Remington said. "See you around, I guess." Remington watched
Sin and Yosuke walk away the whole way back to the cafe. Rogues or not,
he was glad to have made friends with Team Fool Arcana and Team Halcyon.
